Theobroma Cacao is an original and vibrant chocolaterie, where innovative and unique products are handmade to the highest standards using only the purest natural ingredients. The company was founded in 1999 by Philip Neal, proprietor and chocolatier, and Cal Brown.
All of our recipes are designed and developed by Philip throughout his career as head Pattisier in some of the UK's leading five star establishments. All of our chocolate is made using just five ingredients: cacao solid, soya, natural vanilla, cane sugar and pure cacao butter – no unnatural additives are added at any stage of the process.
What's more, we use cacao from the finest origins, including single bean varieties grown specifically for chocolate, which provides us with a superior quality of this most important of ingredients. The single bean varieties we use are grown in Venezuela and produce a smooth, clean and pure taste on the palate.
